Needed:
rhythm section (keyboards, bass guitar, and drums needed, and preferably acoustic and electric guitar—all at a level where you can play this genre by ear or chords), wind instruments (with the ability to read music), and preferably a whole cimbalom band (strings and cimbalom). Then someone with a voice like a bell who can speak at least a little Slovak ( so it's not a total parody) and some vocalists. It's better to be a musician than a plagiarist.

This band will focus on the work of a living legend – Stevie Wonder. We will play his timeless hits, either as originals or in our own arrangements, depending on the instrumentation and preferences of the band members.

We'll need rhythm section: drums, bass, piano, and guitar. But we can't do without vocals! A horn section would be a dream, and a percussionist would be the icing on the cake.

I play the saxophone and piano. I can advise on chords, rhythm (groove), and improvisation.

If you're no stranger to rocking the stage, pushing your voice and ego to astronomical heights, and playing funk until you drop, join the band that will be the revival band of the famous American funk-soul band Vulfpeck. We'll take a look at the new album Clarity of Cal, as well as the good old classics from the live album Madison Square.

We're looking for guitarists, keyboardists, bassists, wind instrument players, and singers. Knowledge of your instrument, some basic groove, chord symbols, and your own voice would be great, but I'm happy to help with anything. I'd like to play the drums myself.

Want to be part of a band? Don't be discouraged by a lack of skill—we all had to start somewhere. In this band, we'll focus mainly on what's most important in music: the shared joy of playing and the connection between musicians.

I don't have any ambitions for us to be the biggest stars—I mainly want to have fun and learn something in the process. No stress about performing at the end, no pressure to be perfect. We'll just play the music we enjoy and try to understand how the individual instruments in the band work and how they interact with each other.

We will choose the repertoire together based on what you want to play. We will go down the pop/rock mainstream route – simply things that most of you know and love. Together, we will find something that suits our lineup and our abilities.

We are continuing on from the previous wave, so most of the seats are already reserved. We would definitely appreciate an electric guitar. And if you play anything else—ukulele, violin, flute, or even triangle—feel free to get in touch. We can always figure out how to work it in.

What can we expect from each other? I can't promise to teach you all the mysteries of music (I'm just an enthusiast who is still learning). But I can help you find your place in the band, how to respond to others, and how to enjoy jamming together. I mainly play the piano and guitar (so that's what I can help with the most), I sing, and sometimes I play the cajon.

For me, music isn't about being the best—it's about being together with people who share the same passion. When we get together, it can be a great experience. And we'll definitely have a laugh and get to know each other.

This band will probably not be performing at the Show Off concert.

Come and enjoy the African sunshine with us while we wait for spring to arrive! We will learn three traditional songs, which we will not only sing but also accompany with our own bodies. It will be playful, danceable, and polyrhythmic. We look forward greatly! Kačka and Markéta

Some call her the queen of neo-soul, some just soul, some RnB, she is also associated with jazz and hip hop – but it doesn't really matter. This woman is an absolutely fundamental personality even beyond these labels, and in this band we will focus on how to take something new from her authenticity for our ears and brains. Velvety vocals and horns, dreamlike harmonies, drums and bass gently pulsing but uncompromising. Boy, that's a real treat.

We will focus mainly on the albums Baduizm and Mama’s Gun. I welcome drums, percussion, keyboards, guitars, vocals, and wind instruments in the band. It would be great if you knew at least the basics of your instrument. I am able to prepare sheet music, but I would like to work as much as possible by ear. I can help with all instruments except wind instruments.

The band will play the most serious rock hits, whether Czech/Slovak or international. We will try to stay as close to the originals as possible, but if something is beyond our level, we will seek a simplified arrangement.

Recommended skills: basics of the instrument, reading common chord symbols, guitars – owning at least one overdrive or other distortion pedal

We are looking for: Vocals, bass guitar, 2 guitars, and drums. If there is interest, a keyboardist may also be a good fit.
